Retinol Night Cream No. 2 - Refill

Welcome to Step 2 of our Retinol Step-Up System! You’ve graduated from the Retinol Night Cream No. 1. This means that your skin has happily adjusted to using retinol (without redness or irritation) and is ready to level up. 

Retinol, also known as vitamin A, is the holy grail of performance skincare because it helps to soften, smooth, and brighten your skin while you sleep. This cream has .3% retinol, which is double the concentration of our introductory Retinol Night Cream No. 1.

Is No. 2 Right For You? 

When the skin is first exposed to retinol, it’s common to experience “retinization,” which results in dry, red, and irritated skin. To counter this process, we recommend that you start with a low concentration (.15%) of retinol, which can be found in the Retinol Night Cream No. 1. Use No. 1 for at least 60 days to let the skin adjust and acclimate. If you aren’t experiencing redness or irritation, you may be ready to graduate! Slowly introduce the Retinol Night Cream No. 2 by alternating No. 1 and No. 2 every other night for about two weeks, until your skin has fully transitioned.
